Margo lives in an inner suburb of Sydney. She works as a technical writer, and has been a freelance editor, a clerk in the public service, a kitchenhand and a few other odd things in her working life. She has a history degree, no pets, two nearly-grown-up sons and a partner, Steven. She has been published since her teenage years, writing poetry and putting herself through a prose apprenticeship of teenage romances. She then wrote fantasy novels for junior readers, and real-world young adult novels, before immersing herself in fantasy short stories and novels. Margo loves libraries, travel of all kinds, three-quarters-full notebooks, old houses and free time.
